At Kezi Women Collective, we are dedicated to cultivating a new generation of independent women filmmakers who have the skills and confidence to tell their own stories, and redefine the narrative together!
We are excited to announce our commitment to fostering a vibrant creative community for women through filmmaking. As part of our vision, we will be managing the cinema department at Hîlala Zêrîn's high Institute of Art in Hasake City in NE Syria. Our comprehensive three-year filmmaking program is designed to empower women to learn and practice the art of filmmaking.
Each graduate will have the opportunity to undergo specialized training in various filmmaking departments, including pre-production, production, and post-production. In addition to our core program, we will actively collaborate with other art departments such as painting, sculpture, music, and theater. This multidisciplinary approach will provide our students with a broader perspective and deeper appreciation of filmmaking as an integral part of the arts. Our educational offerings will include weekly seminars, panels, and monthly workshops, ensuring that our students receive continuous support and inspiration throughout their journey.
